'Tis the Season

I feel like I got hit by a reindeer! This week has been full of Christmas parties and I played hostess at two of them! Needless to say, back-to-back hostessing is not good for any part of my body and my feet are resting comfortably today in a pair of flats.

At work, we hosted a Holiday open house at our new office. Since the beginning of our organization, we have sublet space inside another company. And by space, I mean cubicles. As of last week, we are in our own office with individual offices. It's glorious! Here are a few photos of my new office.

I have a massive wall and 12-foot ceilings, and can't figure out what to put on it. Suggestions are welcome!

As you can see, I have a lot of unused space behind my desk and not sure how to fill it. I'm thinking some nice patterned chairs could be fun.


Last night, my mom hosted a party for her clients and my sister and I served as co-hostesses. I took most of the day off to help set up and prepare food and it turned out beautifully. My mom is always the hostess with the mostess. I loved the table display and thought it was so whimsical.


We served poinsettia cocktails and I must say, these are the perfect Christmas beverage! So delicious and very festive.
